The redeveloped Baillieu Library provides an innovative and iconic hub which supports the specialised learning needs of arts and humanities students, faculty and the wider University of Melbourne community.

The project comprised three stages. Stage 1 included the redevelopment of the ground floor; Stage 2 included urgent remediation works to the library’s roof to prevent water damage to the University’s valuable collections; and Stage 3 incorporated the redevelopment and extension to the library to incorporate a modern archival and recovery system along with extensive study areas and collaborative learning spaces.

WT provided quantity surveying services for the enabling works related to the feasibility study of this complex project.
